Employee spotlight highlights service of Caddo Parish Victim Assistance Director

The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office recognized Victim Assistance Director Leone Fitzgerald for her long-standing service and leadership within the department. Fitzgerald has guided the Victim Assistance Program with a focus on compassion and support for individuals navigating the justice process.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, Fitzgerald will mark 29 years of service in January. She joined the office as its youngest employee and has since become its second-longest-serving staff member. During her tenure, the Victim Assistance Program has grown from a two-person department into a team of nine operating across multiple buildings and serving both adult and juvenile courts under District Attorney Stewart.

The office highlighted Fitzgerald’s impact on victims and the continued development of the program throughout her career.
