The Parish of Caddo announced that the bridge on Crawford Road in Oil City is now closed as crews begin a full replacement project. The closure took effect today, Monday, Nov. 3, and construction is expected to take approximately 120 days to complete.

During this period, motorists are advised to use the designated detour route along Highway 538, Highway 530, and Clyde Place Vivian Road.

Parish officials urge drivers to use caution in the area and to follow all posted signage while work is underway. Updates on the project’s progress will be shared as construction continues.
