The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Pumpkin Decorating Contest and inviting families to visit their Pumpkin Patch at Sheriff’s Safety Town on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1-5pm. Families are welcome to stop by and paint a pumpkin to celebrate the arrival of fall, as well as view the pumpkins that others have painted for the contest.
The public is also invited to visit Sheriff’s Safety Town, located at 8910 Jewella Avenue in Shreveport, from Oct. 6 to Oct. 15, Monday through Friday, between 8am and 5pm, to vote for their favorite pumpkins.
Voting will not be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Winners will be announced on Oct. 16.
