The Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 has lifted the boil advisory for residents of Princeton who are on the Village Water System.
The advisory was issued after crews working on infrastructure improvements in the area accidentally struck a 4-inch water main along Princeton Road, supplying water to homes located between Drake Drive and Winfield Road.
Water samples were collected and tested by the Louisiana Department of Health Laboratory in Shreveport, which confirms that the water is safe for consumption. No further action is required.
