
The Shreveport Police Department, in partnership with Community Renewal International at the CPKC MLK Friendship House, will host a National Night Out registration kickoff on Monday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. at
the newest Friendship House, located at 2320 Legardy Street.
Friendship Houses are homes established in at-risk neighborhoods and staffed by Community Renewal team members. They serve as safe spaces for hope, education, fellowship, after-school programs, family events, community service projects, and more, providing a caring environment for children and families.
This collaboration highlights the shared commitment of the Shreveport Police Department, Friendship House, and Community Renewal to strengthen community connections, promote safety, and support families.
