The Bossier Arts Council announced that their first production of “The Merry Wives of Windsor” opens tonight at 7pm at the East Bank Theatre.
Boisterous, disreputable knight Sir John Falstaff hatches a plan to restore his fortunes by seducing two wealthy housewives, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page. But the hunter becomes the hunted when, wise to his schemes and determined to get the last laugh, they decide to play a few tricks of their own.
Tickets are still available now for $25 and can be purchased online, over the phone, or at the front desk during regular business hours. Other opportunities to see “The Merry Wives of Windsor” are Saturday, Aug. 30, at 7pm and Sunday, Aug. 31, at 2pm.
Don’t miss this Fantastic Performance Collaboration from The Company Repertory Theatre and BAC.
