The boil advisory issued on Monday, Aug. 18, from Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 (CWSD #1) has been lifted for customers on the Village Water System.
The advisory was issued when work crews repaired the water line in the 700 block of Taylor Bend Street, affecting homes on Taylor Bend, Humphrey, and Humphrey Circle. The water service was temporarily shut off while the repairs were made, prompting officials to issue the precautionary boil advisory.
Water samples were tested by the Louisiana Department of Health Laboratory in Shreveport and confirmed to be safe. No further action is needed.
