Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation held its annual two-day Youth Basketball Camp on July 21–22 at LSU Shreveport (LSUS), with legendary AAU/Nike Select Coach Mike Theus leading the instruction.

Young athletes participated in a dynamic mix of on-court skills and drills, along with off-court mentorship and encouragement designed to build both athletic ability and character. Coach Theus brought years of experience and inspiration to the court, making a lasting impact on every camper.

Awards and recognition were given throughout the camp, highlighting outstanding effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. But in the end—every camper walked away a winner.

This camp is one of many youth development programs offered by Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation to promote leadership, health, and personal growth through sports.
