Bossier man arrested for possession of child sexual abuse material

In a joint investigation with state and national partners, detectives with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon Shapiro, age 30, for the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
 
The arrest stems from tips submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which were forwarded to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
 
Mr. Shapiro was arrested without incident at his place of employment in the 4000 block of Viking Drive in Bossier City, and booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Facility with a $100,000 bond.
 
Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to aggressively investigate cases of child sexual abuse in conjunction with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, and the teams from ICAC and NCMEC.
 
If anyone has any information related to this case or are aware of any other potential victims or related incidents, they are urged to come forward. That information could be vital in helping protect others and ensuring justice is fully served.
