The Shreveport Police Department is actively seeking three individuals wanted in connection with separate vehicle-related theft investigations.
Cheryl Bayless is wanted for Failure to Return a Leased Vehicle. On April 23, Bayless rented a
U-Haul vehicle and failed to return it by the agreed-upon time. As of today, the vehicle has not been
recovered. A warrant for her arrest was issued on June 6.
Landon Meshell is wanted for Theft of a Motor Vehicle following an investigation that began on May 30. Detectives were notified that a previously reported stolen vehicle had been recovered—unoccupied and wrecked—following a pursuit by the Bossier City Police Department that ended in Shreveport. After further investigation, Meshell was identified as the individual responsible for stealing the vehicle. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Daniel Haggerty is wanted in connection with a theft involving an Enterprise rental car. Haggerty rented
a vehicle and failed to return it. Multiple attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful, and
detectives have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bayless, Meshell, or Haggerty is urged to contact the
