The Shreveport Police Department has placed Officer Austin Terry on administrative leave following his arrest stemming from a domestic incident.

On May 13, 2025, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Terry and charged him with one count of
Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment and one count of Interfering with 911 Services. The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is the lead agency investigating this incident.

The Shreveport Police Department takes all allegations of domestic violence with the utmost seriousness. In accordance with department policy, a thorough Internal Affairs investigation will be conducted once the criminal investigation has concluded.
