In a landmark achievement, the Bossier Parish Community College baseball team has clinched the Region 14 North  title, marking the program’s first conference championship in 25 years and its inaugural Region 14 title.

The Cavaliers sealed the milestone by sweeping a doubleheader Saturday at home 8-2, 12-5 over Angelina, finishing the regular season with a 34-16 overall record, 19-11 in conference play.

Under the leadership of head coach Bobby Gilliam, BPCC has emerged as a NJCAA playoff regular.

This title secures the Cavaliers’ fifth playoff appearance in eight years, a stark contrast to the program’s mere handful of postseason births in the previous two decades.
