Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, with Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR), will host Senior Day in the Park on Friday, May 9, from 9am to 2pm, at Richard Fleming Park (7919 West Lakeshore Dr., Shreveport).
This event will consist of a fun-filled day of games, fitness activities, socialization, fishing, and lunch for senior citizens 55 and older while enjoying the natural beauty of the park. Local health and wellness resource agencies will be on site. Blood pressure checks and blood glucose testing services will also be available on-site.
