The Consolidated Water/Sewerage District #1 informs Princeton residents about upcoming lane closures on Winfield Road as part of the Village Water System’s infrastructure improvements.
Contracted work crews, in collaboration with the Bossier Parish Police Jury, will begin upgrading the water mains from Little League Drive to Hawkins Road near the Kansas City Southern Railroad tracks. This phase of the nearly $4 million water main project is expected to take three months to complete.
Lane closure details are as follows.
• Dates: April 15 to June 15
• Location: Winfield Road, from Little League Drive to Hawkins Road
• Hours: 8am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday
A single lane will be temporarily closed, with the construction zone shifting daily as the new water line is installed. Motorists should follow all caution signs and signal flaggers and consider using alternative routes via Wafer Road or Princeton Road to avoid the construction area.
The Bossier Parish Police Jury apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciate the public’s patience as they work to enhance the community’s infrastructure. The public’s safety and well-being are their top priorities.
