The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit is actively investigating two separate cases and is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating two wanted individuals.

During an investigation into a 2024 incident, detectives determined that Elijah Jones, 20, engaged in sexual activity with an 18-year-old. A forensic interview was conducted at the Gingerbread House on March 26 during which the victim disclosed details of the sexual assault. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued for Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.

In a separate case, on February 11, 2025, the Shreveport Police Department received a report of a sexual
assault involving multiple suspects. During the investigation, detectives found that Kaliyah Washington used her Instagram account to distribute an explicit photograph of the victim without consent. The image, in which the victim is identifiable, was discovered through a court-authorized Meta warrant, confirming the account belonged to Washington. Based on these findings, an arrest warrant was issued for Nonconsensual Disclosure of a Private Image.

Both Elijah Jones and Kaliyah Washington remain at large, and detectives are seeking assistance in locating them.
