RUSTON – After winning a pair of home games at the Thomas Assembly Center to reach the Great 8 of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, Louisiana Tech will travel to the Midwest for a Monday night contest at Illinois State.

The Lady Techsters (18-15) will meet the Redbirds (23-12) at 6 p.m. CDT in a contest carried on ESPN+, with the winner moving on to a Final Four WNIT semifinal matchup against the survivor of Troy at North Dakota State.

Illinois State beat visiting Abilene Christian 78-68 Thursday night in the WNIT’s Super 16 round. Louisiana Tech rallied past Lindenwood 68-64 Wednesday night at the TAC.
