The Shreveport Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident in the Allendale neighborhood that left a female injured. It occurred in the 1900 block of Ford Street, near the corner of N. Dale Avenue.

At approximately 11:50pm on Tuesday, March 19, the Caddo 911 Communications Department received a call regarding a shooting incident after residents heard shots fired. Upon arrival on the scene, SPD officers discovered a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The injuries are considered as serious and possibly life-threatening at this time.

According to the police, no suspect information is available at this time.
