Shreveport Police officers conducted a traffic stop on Greenwood Road after observing the driver of a silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo, a Black male, not wearing his seatbelt on March 11. As officers initiated the stop, they noticed the driver making suspicious movements, including raising his body and reaching with his right arm as if attempting to conceal an item.
Upon further investigation, officers identified the driver as Jumada Lindsay. Lindsay was found to be in possession of a handgun, and officers later discovered he had attempted to hide suspected narcotics in his pants. As a result, Lindsay was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance and possession of Schedule I narcotics.
The following day, March 12, members of the SPD’s Warrant Unit arrested Kiadrew McFan on an outstanding warrant. McFan was wanted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Anyone with information regarding illegal firearms or narcotics activity is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
