Here are some personal preparedness tips:
PETS/PLANTS: Relocate your pets and plants to warmer spaces out of the direct cold. Provide warm bedding and fresh water, making sure that water isn’t frozen.
PIPES: Cover and wrap outdoor faucets and spigots, and make sure pipes are insulated and sprinkler systems are weatherized and shut off. Drip indoor faucets.
