The LHSAA girls basketball playoffs kick into full gear tonight with five Shreveport-Bossier teams in action, three hosting first-round games.

Airline, Captain Shreve and Plain Dealing play at home tonight.  Benton and Northwood travel south for their playoff contests.

Wednesday night, Southwood’s season ended at home with a 67-53 loss to Teurlings Catholic in a Division I Select first-round matchup.

Drawing first-round byes and awaiting results tonight are two-time defending Division I Non-Select champion Parkway, seeded first, and No. 4 Haughton; in Division II Select, No. 4 Huntington; and in Division III Select, No. 8 Calvary Baptist.  They will host second-round games expected to be played Monday night.
