Shreveport Police officers responded to a shooting at 3020 Colquitt Rd. on Feb. 16. A man was found lying on the ground nursing a gunshot wound to the rear after an argument over a dog got out of hand.
The shooter, Silvester Davis, admitted to firing the shot and was arrested for illegal use of a weapon.
The victim was treated at LSU Ochsner and decided not to press charges.
The Shreveport Police Department would like to remind everyone: use words, not weapons. No disagreement is worth catching (or firing) a bullet in the behind.
