Playoff action tips Thursday night for 10 Shreveport-Bossier girls basketball teams, headed by two-time defending state Division I Non-Select champion Parkway (26-4) earning a No. 1 seed in its bracket after another dominant regular season.

Also in the Non-Select Division I bracket are Airline, Benton, Haughton and Northwood.

The Division I select tournament includes Captain Shreve, Huntington and Southwood.

In Division III Non-Select, Calvary is in the field. Plain Dealing earned a spot in the Division IV Non-Select bracket.

LHSAA girls basketball playoff first-round games, all to be played Thursday, involving local schools:

Division I Non-Select

No. 1 Parkway (26-4), bye

No. 4 Haughton (26-4), bye

No. 16 Airline (17-8) hosts No. 17 Thibodaux (17-8)

No. 21 Benton (21-13) at No. 12 Northshore (23-6)

No. 22 Northwood (18-9) at No. 11 East Ascension (20-5)

Division IV Non-Select

No. 16 Plain Dealing (15-14) hosts No. 17 Franklin (10-10)

Division I Select

No. 4 Huntington (19-10), bye

No. 11 Captain Shreve (23-8) hosts No. 22 Ben Franklin (15-14)

No. 16 Southwood (21-11) hosts No. 17 Teurlings Catholic (17-10)

Division III Select

No. 8 Calvary Baptist (15-7), bye
