HOPE Connections shares needs ahead of winter weather

In response to the coming freezing weather, HOPE Connections has opened its shelter to unhoused people. People living outside may not be able to survive these freezing temperatures. But HOPE needs more to help those people.

While HOPE Connections cannot accept clothing, they can accept the following items. Anyone who can donate these items is asked to drop their donations off at the left side entrance to HOPE on 2350 Levy Street. There will be staff available to help unload; simply call 318-470-4911 upon arrival.

Need items include:

  • Blankets, pillows, twin sheets
  • Jackets, coats, hoodies
  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • Snacks and microwavable food
  • Bottle water, coffee, creamer, and sugar
  • Spray deodorant, liquid body wash, hand soap
  • Disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer
