Mayor Tommy Chandler released the following statement in celebration of the new year:

To every Citizen of the “Great City of Bossier City.” As we put this year behind us and look forward to the New Year- My wish is that in this New Year you will be Prosperous, Healthy and Happy. Let us resolve to take care of ourselves and to respect one another. I Pray that we will increase our Kindness and Service. Remember that “as we journey through this life, we do not pass this way alone- for what we send into the lives of others, is what comes back into our own. I wish a “Happy and Safe New Year” to you and your family.
