This year, there was a delay in receiving the tax roll information. Therefore, there was a delay in mailing property tax notices. Notices started going out the week of Thanksgiving. As of Friday, Dec. 13, CPSO are continuing the mailing process.
Due to this delay, interest will not be charged until January 13, 2025. Customers can mail in their payments, pay over the phone 833-538-8539, online, or in person. CPSO will accept payments on December 14, 2024, at the Sheriff’s Safety Town located at 8910 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA 71118 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. They will only accept checks and credit cards at this location.
On Dec. 28, 2024, they will also accept payments from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the North Sub-Station at 11411 Louisiana Highway 1, Oil City, LA 71061 and our South Sub-Station at 9956 Mansfield Road, Keithville, LA 71047. They will accept cash, checks, and credit cards at those locations.
