The Shreveport Fire Department extended its thanks to Calumet-Shreveport for their donation of five MSA 4-gas monitors. These monitors are used daily to ensure the safety of firefighters and public, measuring the levels of oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and combustible gases.
Chief Reese stated, “We are dedicated to strengthening the bonds of the relationships with our community partners to better serve our citizens. Calumet has once again proven their commitment to public safety and the City of Shreveport by providing our firefighters with the necessary tools to continue to perform our duties at a high level.”
