SPD responded to a call just after midnight on Nov. 25 regarding an assault and battery in the 3000 block of Lufkin Street. 

Following an investigation into a domestic incident, officers from the Triple Patrol Unit took Brian Guzman into custody. Guzman faces charges of two counts of Domestic Abuse with Child Endangerment and two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Weapon. The incident reported occurred in the presence of two minor children. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
