Officials with the Bossier Parish Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No.1 have issued a boil advisory for customers on the East Central Bossier Water System effective as of Friday, Nov. 22. This advisory affects customers on all of LA Hwy160 east of Fire Tower Road, and Clarkson Road.

 

The advisory was issued because the main line lost pressure due to a scheduled repair to the main line. Officials say the advisory will affect an estimated 12 meters, or 36 customers, on the system.

 

Water samples will be sent to the LA Dept. of Health Lab for testing. Customers are advised to boil their water for consumption until further notice.
