District Attorney James E. Stewart, Sr. swore in Eric Whitehead as Assistant District Attorney, First Judicial District, on Nov. 4. Whitehead is a native of Benton and has a Masters of Law from Loyola College of Law and is a graduate of LSU Law Center, Louisiana Tech, and Benton High School. He joined the DA’s office from the Morris and Dewett law firm. Whitehead will prosecute in the Appellate Section.
