Effective today, Monday Nov. 4, David Raines Road will move into Phase II of its roadway rehabilitation. Phase II includes closing the southbound lane of David Raines Road between Martin Luther King Drive and Round Grove Lane. This action will make David Raines Road a one-way roadway for northbound traffic only during this phase. Southbound traffic should detour via Hilry Huckaby III Ave during this time. The estimated time for completion is four months, but may take longer depending on weather, wind, and other factors.

On a positive note, the section of David Raines Road that has been closed for the last several months between Hilry Huckaby III Avenue and Round Grove Lane will reopen to traffic. The public is advised to use caution. Always drive safely and take precautions when driving through any construction site.
