The City of Shreveport has announced that its Paint Your Heart Out initiative is back for 2025. The City of Shreveport: Community Development will be accepting applications until December 31, 2024. Over 1,700 houses have received a complete exterior face-lift in the past thirty successful years. This program is carried out by volunteers who give of themselves and their time each year. It is also thanks to the sponsors who give in-kind and financial gifts to support the program. The staff of the Community Development Department put in many hours to make sure that everything is done in time for the big day.
