Annie Gilmer, Bossier Parish Engagement Librarian, operates the Bossier Parish Library Homebound delivery service, which brings the library to patrons who need help to make it out to the library.
Once a month, she delivers books, DVDs, audiobooks, and e-books on tablets for patrons. Gilmer stops at local residences, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities but hopes to expand the service parish-wide.
