Bossier Parish Fire District #1 units were dispatched to the Tall Timbers neighborhood in Haughton on July 28 around 1:30 pm for a house on fire. Units arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from the home. It took units approximately 15 minutes to bring the fire under control. No civilian injuries were reported. Unfortunately nine pets were lost in the fire.
