North Caddo will start its 2024 football season the same as it did last year, something not many local schools are fortunate enough to be able to do after the reclassification by the LHSAA that changed all the districts in the area.

The Titans, under second-year head coach Chase Thompson, will host Bossier to open the season and North Webster in the second week for the third consecutive season. They play Southwood for the first time since 1988 and play against District 1-2A newcomers Magnolia Charter and Union Parish in first-ever matchups.

The opener against the Bearkats will be the 26th meeting in the series with Bossier holding a 25-5 advantage.

The Purple Knights make the trip from Springhill for the eighth game in the series they lead 5-2. North Caddo played Springhill 50 times from its inaugural season in 1955 until the Lumberjacks were part of the consolidation into North Webster in 2011.

North Caddo’s game with Southwood will be the sixth between the two. The first four were played from 1973-76 with the Cowboys winning all four and the Titans winning the last meeting in 1988.

After hosting Magnolia Charter in the 1-2A opener, the Titans will play at Mansfield. The Wolverines hold the series lead (24-12) dating back to 1955.

Union Parish travels to Vivian from Farmerville for the first-time date with the Titans. The Farmers moved into 1-2A after playing in 1-3A the last two years.

North Caddo then travels to Farmerville to face D’Arbonne Woods, the only team on its schedule the Titans have a series advantage over (5-1).

It is back home in Week 8 for a date with north Caddo Parish rival Green Oaks. The Giants have the series edge 11-8, winning five of the last six.

Road games the last two playing dates finish out the regular season at Homer and Calvary.

The Pelicans are another 1-2A newcomer and lead the series with the Titans, 18-12.

North Caddo will be looking for its first win against Calvary when it visits the Cavaliers for the 15th meeting of the two schools.
