The maintenance of Bossier Parish parks is currently encountering significant delays because of the persistent heavy rainfall in the area.
Bossier Parks and Recreation Director Warren Saucier says works crews are behind cutting the grass at the parish’s parks due to the daily pop-up showers we have been receiving. “Right now, we are trying to keep up with the mowing, but the fields are soaked to capacity, making it hard to maintain them.”
Saucier assures the community that despite the challenges, the maintenance of the parish’s parks will continue. “Our crews will strive to cut as much grass as possible, ensuring the parks remain in good condition.”
