The Bossier City Police Department recently held a ceremony to promote five deserving officers. Police Chief Daniel Haugen said that he was proud and it gave him great pleasure to recognize and promote these members. Bossier City Mayor Thomas Chandler was present at the promotion ceremony and offered his appreciation and congratulations to the officers. The members promoted during the ceremony were:

Lieutenant Joe Thomerson was promoted to Captain

Sgt. Doug Fuller promoted to Lieutenant

Corporal Carl Liddell promoted to Sgt.

Corp. George Fanning promoted to Sgt.

Corp. Steven Wood promoted to Sgt.

 

The ceremony was well attended by family, co-workers and well wishers.
