Four Shreveport-Bossier boys basketball teams remain in the LHSAA playoffs and all of them will play at home in the second round. 

All four opponents come to the area with some kind of playoff past involving local teams. 

Captain Shreve (27-5) is the No. 3 seed in Select Division I and will play No. 14 McKinley (21-10). It is the first meeting  between the two schools since the 1974 quarterfinals when Shreve won in overtime 78-77. That is also the last time the Gators have won a quarterfinal and advanced to the state tournament. 

Southwood (23-8) is ranked sixth in Select Division I and welcomes No. 11 Brother Martin (22-12) to the Walker Road campus. The Cowboys and Crusaders haven’t played but Brother Martin has some playoff history with teams from Shreveport-Bossier and has won them all. The Crusaders knocked off Airline in the 2005 semifinals, beat Shreve in the semifinals in 1974 and defeated Shreve (1970) and Woodlawn (1971) in the state finals.

Bossier (22-12) carries a No. 6 ranking in Non-Select Division II and will host No. 11 Opelousas (18-10). The Bearkats defeated Opelousas last year in the second round, 60-41.

No. 4 Calvary (25-8) will face off with No. 13 Episcopal (21-15) in Select Division III. The two schools played each other in the 2019 quarterfinals at Episcopal with the Knights winning 63-49.
