Caddo Sheriff’s Tax Department to close for holidays

The Caddo Sheriff’s Tax Department will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Tuesday, December 26, and on January 1 for New Year’s. The office emphasizes that tax payments will be considered delinquent if postmarked after December 31.

Situated within the Caddo Parish Courthouse at 501 Texas Street, the Tax Department normally operates from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with exceptions on holidays.

Payment methods accepted include in-person transactions, mail, online payments via www.caddosheriff.org, or by calling 1-833-538-8539. The payment options encompass cash, check, cashier’s check, money order, or credit card. For online payments or phone transactions, a convenience fee, managed by a private processing company, will be applied.
