On November 18, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Shreveport police officers responded to an armed person call in the 1600 block of Aline Circle. En route to the scene, officers received critical information indicating a female victim was trapped inside her vehicle while a male suspect had just shattered the windshield.

Upon arrival, officers successfully apprehended Cardairo Smith (2-25-87), who was taken into custody and charged with one count of aggravated battery, one count of felony stalking, one count of property damage, and one count of simple battery.

The incident, though alarming, resulted in no serious injuries to anyone involved. We are required to advise that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
