Woodlawn, BTW and Green Oaks head south

Woodlawn, Booker T. Washington and Green Oaks all hit the road to south Louisiana for LHSAA first-round football playoff games tonight. 

The Knights are the No. 23 seed in Select Division II and play No. 10 Madison Prep at BREC Memorial Stadium in Baton Rouge. The Knights are looking for their first playoff win since 2017.  

The 24th seeded Lions are also in Select Division II and will travel to New Orleans to face Livingston Collegiate at Joe Brown Stadium. The last time BTW got a playoff win was in 2005. 

Green Oaks is the 24 seed in Select Division III and travels to Crowley to play Notre Dame. The Giants won a playoff game in 2019, defeating Jena.

Notables: Green Oaks is in the playoff for the 18th time, sixth time since 2015 … Notre Dame Crowley Pioneers, The Giants and Pioneers have played twice with the Pios winning 36-22 in 2001 and 28-12 in 2002.
