Area teams will tee it up under the lights this weekend in jamboree action for a second consecutive week of preparation for the regular season openers. 

The jamboree format is a more game-like atmosphere where coaches get a better look and feel for adjustments that will need to be made when the first week of games kick off. Last weekend’s scrimmages provided insight, but didn’t fully present game-style competition like will be experienced this weekend.

Game time formats vary on time put on the clock and some jamborees start off with freshman, followed by junior varsity and then varsity. 

Here is the current schedule that may be altered with the extreme heat possibly resulting in adjustments. For example, the Bayou Jamb will announce a revised schedule this morning in Monroe that could impact contests listed below.
