
As part of its New Principal Spotlight, the Bossier School District is shining a light on someone who is no stranger to Parkway High School, where he recently served as Assistant Principal. Steven Vrbka proudly joins the Panthers as their newly appointed Principal, and shares a few fun facts with you here. Please join us in congratulating him as he begins his new role as administrator.
Educational Background:
I am a native of Bossier City. I doubled majored in business and mathematics, and I have been an educator for fourteen years. I have served as a teacher and coach at Northwood High; math teacher, cross
country and baseball coach at Parkway; then teacher and football and baseball coach at Airline. I worked most recently as Assistant Principal at Parkway High School.
A Little Lagniappe:
Hobbies – I’m a Nebraska Cornhusker fan! (Go Big Red) I don’t have much time for it anymore but I enjoy traveling and watching/attending sporting events. I also enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time with my family.
Favorite Food – Grilled steak and Reese’s peanut butter cups (but
not together)
Bucket List – Finishing seeing all 30 MLB parks with my wife
