Haughton High School student Carter Shaw is riding high in the saddle after his recent performance in the bull riding competition at the Louisiana High School Rodeo State Finals. Shaw finished 4th in the state and now advances to compete in the National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette, Wyoming in July.
He has a busy summer ahead of him with competitions in Guthrie, Oklahoma at National Little Britches Finals and Shawnee, Oklahoma at the International Finals Youth Rodeo.
