The summer heat is here to stay for a while, and we’re all making adjustments.

Even here at the Shreveport-Bossier Journal. Beginning next week, for the next couple of months, the Journal will scale back to publishing three days a week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

If you’re signed up as a free subscriber, you will get your Journal in your e-mail box at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Our content will be posted on our Facebook page even earlier, and will be on the ShreveportBossierJournal.com website as always – absolutely free, no pop-up windows or low-ball, short-term subscription deals to wade past.

You’ll continue to receive the news, sports, features and information we have provided since January of 2022.

We’ll get back to our full weekly schedule before football season kicks off, and then, you can enjoy the outstanding coverage of local high schools, area colleges and LSU daily when the season roars to life.
