BPCC’s first-round World Series game pushed back a day

OXFORD, Alabama – Rain delayed the much-anticipated first game in the NJCAA Softball World Series for Bossier Parish Community College Tuesday here at Choccolocco Park and now the Lady Cavaliers play Grayson College at noon today.

BPCC is the No. 11 seed and takes a 45-15 record into its first game in the double-elimination tournament. Grayson, the No. 6 seed, is 46-7 after winning the Region V Tournament. The Lady Vikings bring a seven-game win streak to the tournament.

Four of the eight first-round games scheduled for Tuesday had to be rescheduled to Wednesday.
