Bossier City Police Chief Daniel Haugen swore in 10 new officers to the ranks of the Bossier City Police Department in a ceremony at the Police Training Academy last week. These new officers will take on various roles of patrol officers and jailers for the jail.

Mayor Tommy Chandler was in attendance at the ceremony and said that he is “both proud and thankful for these officers who are taking on the important career of keeping our city and citizens safe.”

Chief Haugen said that the department is still actively recruiting young men and women who have a “heart for service” and are interested in a career in law enforcement. If interested, you are invited to apply. The Bossier City Police Department offers a great place to work with an attractive benefits package.
