Green Oaks High School will apparently have a new head football coach for the 2023 season.

Giants’ coach Chadwick Lewis is stepping away, effective at the close of the school year this month, KTAL-TV Sports reported Monday night.

Lewis has been the Giants’ head coach for the past two seasons. Green Oaks won the annual “Soul Bowl” contest with Booker T. Washington in September, 28-6, to highlight its season.

Lewis has previously been an assistant coach at Byrd and Huntington.
