Bossier Parish’s season comes to an end with loss in tourney

TYLER, Texas – Bossier Parish Community College had its men’s basketball season come to an end Thursday with a 78-64 loss to Panola in the quarterfinals of the Region XIV Tournament held at Tyler JC’s Wagstaff Gym.

The Ponies, the No. 2 seed in the tournament and now 27-4 on the season, jumped on top from the start to advance to the semifinals.

BPCC (15-16) was led by Kendrick Delahoussaye with 17 points before he fouled out. Eric McKnight hit three from beyond the arc and was the only other Cav in double figures with 16 points.

Delahoussaye finished his season averaging 14.5 to lead the team. Christian Caldwell was next at 12.2 points and 7.2 rebounds a game. D’Marcus Hall averaged 11.5 points and 5.0 rebounds and Damani Claxton 9.8 points and 4.0 assists.
