JOURNAL STAFF

District 1, Division I champion Captain Shreve placed two MVPs and three on the first team all-district team selected by the district coaches.

Andrew Bradford was named the Overall Most Valuable Player and Colin Elston the Offensive MVP. Midfielder Reese Wren, defender Reid Arant and goalie Bryce Lopez were selected to the first team.

Second place Byrd had the Defensive MVP in Gordon Brown and four on the first team. Benton’s Joey McKenna was the Freshman of the Year and Zian Toves was Newcomer of the Year.
