Funeral services celebrating the life of Bobby Darin Smith, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Wesley Smith.

Bobby was born on Nov. 20, 1938, in Haynesville to Albert Smith and Alice Dale Smith. He passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, in Bossier City.

Bobby joined the United States Marine Corps in 1957 and retired 22 and a half years later. He was married to the love of his life Rachel for 57 years. He was passionate about the Lord and reading his bible. Bobby loved his dogs, Gracie and Sophie. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronnie Smith and Billy Smith; and grandson, Devin Tilley. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Smith; daughter, Belinda Tilley and husband, William; son, Brian Barnard and wife, Buff; granddaughters, Megan Paddie and husband, Brent, Crystal Foster; great-grandchildren, Stella, Paisley, Brayden, and Kinsley; sister, Frances Johnson; sisters-in-law, Katie Brown, and husband Jim, Phyllis Smith; one niece; three nephews; and one great-nephew.
